That second loop is bounded: it only reschedules after a pass's uploads have finished. But every pass also runs a full reconcile, which scans and parses the details of every listing in the store and can write fixed URLs back to listings. With progress writes triggering a pass every 150 ms, that reconcile ran constantly during uploads. Each write back to listings also re-rendered the catalog and the other screens watching that table. Both fixes are in and typecheck passes:
What changed (in services/listingMediaUploadEngine.ts):
- Status changes only: the upload engine starts a new pass only when an upload is added, finishes, fails or is retried. Before, every progress write to the queue table restarted it, along with the full scan.
- Progress saved about once a second: the ring is unaffected, since it reads live progress directly from the upload.
- To check on your phone:
Reload the app (fully, not just fast refresh, so the engine restarts) and use it normally
